OBITUARY

With a heavy heart but in submission to the will of Almighty God, the Rector on behalf of the Management announces the death of Mr. Abimbola Abiola Suraj who answered the call of his creator on Tuesday, 13th August, 2024 after a brief illness.

Mr. Abimbola joined the services of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora on 9th May, 2012 as Lecturer III (Computer Science).

He was appointed as the Acting Head of ICT on 3rd of March, 2013 and was reappointed on 1st of August, 2014.

He was Head of Department of Computer Science between 1st August, 2019 and 31st July, 2020.

He was reappointed as the Acting Head of Department of Computer Science, the position he held till 31st July, 2021.

The late Mr. Abimbola until his death was a Lecturer I at the department of Computer Science.

Mr. Abimbola was an easy going person and would be greatly missed by OYSCATECH Staff, Students, Friends and Family for his easy-going nature and humility.

He was aged 56.He will be buried in Christian way  tomorrow,  Thursday,15th August, 2024 in Ibadan.

 The Rector and the entire Management commiserate with staff, wife, children, friends and family of the deceased, while praying the Almighty God to grant friends and family the     fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

May his gentle Soul rest in perfect peace.
